"The organic cotton we use has been grown without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilisers in soil that has been free from toxic chemicals for at least 3 years. A baby's skin is much thinner and more absorbent than an adult's so organic cotton is less likely to trigger allergies through the absence of harmful chemicals. The attractive colour range has been acheived through the use of non-toxic dyes"
'"Unlike man-made fibres Merino wool 'breathes'. It keeps baby cool in summer and warm in winter. Wool is the most hydrophilic of all fibers and wicks away excess moisture, drying quickly. It’s a a renewable resource that regrows on the sheep after shearing. It is biodegradable and kinder to the environment than oil-based synthetics that contribute to global pollution. Wool is durable, remarkably elastic for growing children, and is free of dust mites."
"Beautifully spun from 100% soybean fibre, soya is softer than cotton, smooth and silky to the touch. The soya plant is also good for the environment as it adds nutrients to the soil plus it does not require pesticides to promote growth, therefore is entirely sustainable".
"Bamboo is a grass that is harvested and distilled into cellulose that is then spun into the yarn. It absorbs 35% more CO2 than equivalent stands of trees and is so quick growing it can replenish itself after harvesting. Bamboo is a breathable, natural yarn with some ultra-violet protective properties".
